Builder’s tailor-made software solutions allow everyone to construct apps quickly, easily and cost effectively.

Builder.ai is a global app building platform, designed to make custom software accessible to everyone. Headquartered in London, the AI powered platform helps entrepreneurs, SMBs and enterprise organizations build, scale and run applications effortlessly.
With a company mission to help every human and every business unlock their potential, Builder.ai goes beyond traditional app creation methods to make building software as easy as ordering a pizza. They use a combination of intuitive AI and expert humans to support all app building needs, regardless of complexity or budget.
The Builder process is based around reusable features that fit together like Lego-Like blocks, and a software creation assembly so anyone can create software with Builder.ai. There is no need to speak tech and no coding is required.

Building from the ground up

Creating something groundbreaking is one thing, but telling the world about it is another. Builder.ai has been rapidly scaling its operations with a hyper growth strategy for product development and global expansion since its Series B funding in 2021.
But Builder faced a unique set of challenges focused around establishing a more robust sales pipeline. They sought out Wing for help. They needed to boost their US sales team’s numbers for tasks like calling on leads and setting up potential customers to attend demo calls with Builder account executives. They also needed more people closing deals.

Outsourcing end-to-end processes

Wing found a couple of key hires for Builder, who quickly took ownership of vital tasks. One is Kristine, who supported the creation of the company’s recruitment process and continues to help recruit for its US sales team.
Another is Kristina Marie, who’s main duty is calling leads for outbound prospecting. She also handles onboarding and payroll for Builder’s direct hires.
After hiring Wing, Builder’s Sales team achieved a 60 to 85% increase in employment. The recruiters’ work brought in a total of 36 SDRs, AEs, Managers, and Directors.
From May 18, 2021, from a single SDR, Wing found for Builder a total of 72 people from the Philippines including talent for adhoc posts such as social media administration and general administrative tasks.

Outcome

Shalabh Moonat, Builder’s Vice President for US Revenue, says that their Wing Assistants have been invaluable to their success.
“The way our Wing SDRs engage with potential customers and effectively communicate the value of our platform has been exemplary. From the very beginning, our partnership with Wing has been seamless and the SDRs’ persuasive skills and customer-centric approach have been vital in converting many leads into happy customers,”

Building from the ground up

Wing’s SDRs brought in a total of 548 demos for Builder, with the US team completing 366 demos and the UK team completing 182. The work of these sales professionals, coupled with Builder.ai’s phenomenal app building abilities, bolstered Builder’s expansion.
In 2022, Builder.ai reported that it increased its revenue by over 300%, growth that helped secure $100 million in its Series C round. The company has now announced that it has raised $250 million in Series D funding.
Builder plans to further invest this in research into refining the capabilities of its platform. The company is just getting started with its plans, and Wing is pleased to have been there to help set things in motion.
